Dear Real Estate Entrepreneur; Why Aren’t You Getting Embarrassingly Rich in the HOTTEST, Easiest-to-Navigate Real Estate Market in History? I mean, look around you. I bet you see tons of people making money and doing deals that are, not to put too fine a point on it, a lot stupider than you are. And I bet you’ve done all the right things—bought the home study courses, attended the seminars and boot camps, joined your local real estate association…

But There’s Still Something Crucial Missing, And I Know What it is. My name is Vena Jones-Cox, and I’ve been buying, selling, financing, and renting properties for over 20 years. I’ve made money in up markets and down markets; buyer’s markets and seller’s markets; markets where getting financing was as easy as fogging a mirror and as hard as scaling Mt. Everest without a Sherpa. I’ve also been teaching real estate entrepreneurs to create and build profitable businesses for over a decade through non-profit real estate investor associations and my own seminars and courses. It’s because of all this personal and teaching experience that I know exactly what it is that’s stopping you from creating complete and total financial independence: You Don’t Have the Support You Need to Make “Rich” Happen for You!

The Essential Artie Shaw 2 CD Set

The Essential Artie Shaw - 2 CD Set - $72 Pledge Level

One of the more complex characters in jazz, Artie Shaw was a consummate clarinetist and musical innovator who was among the first to combine jazz with modern classical music. And at the height of the swing era, he was a superstar who recorded a string of hit songs. However, he detested the rituals of celebrity, and he frequently dropped out of music. After putting together one of his finest groups in the mid 1950s, he retired from music altogether. Shaw then pursued a career as a writer, and his books received glowing praise, though never enough to overshadow the memory of his music. He passed away in 2004 at the ripe old age of 94.

The Ultimate Rat Pack Collection CD/DVD

The Ultimate Rat Pack Collection CD/DVD - $96 Pledge Level

Live and Swingin’ is undoubtedly for those who already own some of the guys’ worthier recordings. Oh, but the guys? Frank, Dean, and Sammy (or, as Jackie Mason had it on The Simpsons, "the Candy Man!") For most anyone who cares, though, this is a must-buy item: a slightly edited version of the 1962 Villa Venice tapes along with a DVD that preserves a rarely seen, full-length serious/funny/anarchic Rat Pack performance from ’65. (For sentimentalists’ sake, it was taped on Tina Sinatra’s 17th birthday; she makes a brief appearance onstage with the fellas.) All kidding aside, the trio makes with the serious singing – though perhaps those who came to hear Sammy get through an entire mini-set without interruption will want to go elsewhere, as his partners’ shtick barely allows him to finish a line, much less a song. Sinatra aficionados will find the DVD indispensable, as he paws his way through a mellow version of "My Kind of Town" (benefit location "St. Louis"!) and "Fly Me to the Moon." --Rickey Wright 1. Fibber McGee & Molly Package - 39 CDs 20 cd set, new 10 CD set & 9 cd set - $144 Pledge Level

When was the last time you visited 79 Wistful Vista- the home of Fibber McGee and Molly? Here, at long last, is the largest collection of classic Fibber and Molly moments that span from 1935 to 1953. From Fibber and Molly winning their home to an IRS visit, this 41-episode collection is filled with running jokes, get rich schemes, tall tales, famous overcrowded hall closet scenes and such amusing characters as Gildersleeve, Teeny, Beulah, Wallace Wimple as well as many others. Be entertained with this 20- hour collection where Molly stands by her man, acting as the voice of reason to Fibber. Their legendary wit and great gags will not only leave you laughing out loud but also looking forward to more Wistful Vista visits. At 79 Wistful Vista there lived Fibber McGee, a fast talking man who was prone to exaggeration. His long-suffering wife, Molly, insisted "T’aint funny McGee," but they had radio audiences laughing for almost 25 years. This incredible comedy featured an onslaught of outrageous characters: a pesky little girl named Teeny, the snobby Mrs. Abigail Uppington, subservient husband Wallace Wimple, and more. Then, of course, there was McGee’s notorious closet, which seemed to take on a life of it’s own - heaping random objects upon Fibber, friends and family each time it was opened, and becoming one of the most memorable gags in radio. Join Mr. & Mrs. McGee for 10 hours of domestic bumbling and bliss as they keep house, keep the faith for the American war effort, and keep on mishandling all manner of situations.

Steelhead
Steelhead are the perfect river fish. They are a beautiful fish that come in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Steelhead are great fighters, often making fast, drag zinging runs with many jumps. When you combine a fighter like this, that often weighs 7 to 12 pounds and put them in our small rivers you have your hands full. In most years there are enough steelhead in one of our area rivers to fish for them the entire year. Flies and lures are both popular depending on the season and conditions.Season – March thru April and November thru December are peek, with steelhead often available year round.

Salmon
We have mostly king (Chinook) with some silver (Coho) salmon. The kings average around 15 to 20 pounds with 30 plus pound fish being common. The salmon are plentiful, you can almost count on getting into several fish per day. In August and September we catch a lot of salmon on cast and retrieved lures (just like fishing for bass, except the salmon are 3 feet long). Salmon are arguably the hardest fitting and fighting fish in freshwater. We lose many more fish than are landed simply because we cannot handle them. In October and November we do a lot more fly fishing, when the salmon are in the upper river.Season – Late August thru October for Salmon.

Trout
We have both brown and rainbow trout and both can be successfully fished year round on many of our area rivers. A wide variety of methods are used depending on the time of year, current conditions and the skills and preferences of the anglers. Stripping large streamers, waking large dries at night and matching hatch conditions are some of the more popular methods used. But just about anything will work at some time. As a note the Pere Marquette River was the first river to be planted with brown trout in North America, brought from Germany in the late 1800's.Season – Our trout can be successfully caught year round, with summer being the most popular.

Smallmouth Bass
The Muskegon and Big Manistee Rivers have strong populations of smallmouth. During the summer both rivers can provide a great time for anyone that wants an easy day with plenty of action. Both rivers are large enough to allow plenty of room for back casting with a fly rod, this is a good trip for beginners. Fish average one or two pound but they are often plentiful and aggressive. Fly and light spinning gear are both popularSeason – Late May thru Early September for Smallmouth.

Great Lakes Carp
Although Carp have been a popular game fish in Europe for a long time they have largly been overlooked here in the US. Not so anymore! Fly fishing for Carp is gaining in popularity an one of the best unsung resources for this hard fighting fish is Lake Michigan. All along the coast of Lake Michigan big (30 plus pound) carp can be found. Often called the "golden bones" because they can be just a difficult as saltwater bonefish to catch. One of the best places to fish for big Carp is Beaver Island at the northern end of Lake Michigan. Kevin has been fishing this area for the past ten years and knows all the best places to find these big fish.Season – June thru early August.
